(NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest expresstransportation companies announced four additional weekly flightsfrom Singapore to Sydney, Australia, doubling flight operationsbetween the two countries to eight flights per week. This expansionof our operational strength will better support businesses andexporters with increased and reliable capacity as they tradebetween Singapore and Australia. Australia is currently Singapore’sfourth-largest trading partner for exports[1]. Singapore is alsoAustralia’s largest two-way trading partner[2].

The increase in flights will enhance the movement of goodsbetween both countries and tap into the high e-commerce potentialof both economies. Valued at US$25.7 billion in 2020[3], Australiais the eleventh largest e-commerce market in the world, while theSingapore Business to Consumer (B2C) e-commerce market is worth$4.9 billion[4].
